Their goal is to have overall customer satisfaction, and to continue the business in a positive, efficient, and effective way. Regardless of the size or type of business, there are always processes and operations issues that must be dealt with. Operations managers find the inefficiencies or problems in the work flow of the business, and re-engineer these processes in order for them to be more efficient and profitable for the company.
